I have just returned from ‘Camp Inspiration’ a weekend in Melbourne where we had loads of fun ‘playing’ with the NEW Close To My Heart range of collections which will be released on 1st September, 2015. I got to hang out with a fabulous group of girls from all over Australia and our weekend was planned out like no other. The organisation and leadership was amazing. We opened packs and created, taught and shared, brainstormed, packed bags, open more packs and created more, learnt new things, laughed and indulged in both chocolate AND Close To My Heart product and went back to create more in such a nurturing, caring and sharing environment.

It was a huge honour to attend and I enjoyed sharing some special projects with the girls.
…just want to say I love my job!

I’ve had a whole lot of fun with our Jackson Paper, Jackson Complements, Jackson Picture My Life cards and male inspired stamp sets. These are a few of my favourite cards.

The beginning of my affair with Jackson resulted in this masculine Jackson Happy Birthday card complete with Durable Triangle Studs.

I love this style of pocket card…Dream Big was the theme!

A super fun card, we made this Jackson inspired Happy Birthday card at my workshops.

A tall spiral card using our Dizzy Circles Stamp set (C1610) with Glacier Ink, Dessert Ink and Cocoa Ink.

Jackson “P.S Let’s Celebrate” card…fun at its best!

This ‘star’ card was shared by my friend Bonnie, I love it and the embossed card makes the star stand out beautifully.

Inspired from an idea straight out of Jeanette Lynton’s “Originals” Handcrafted Cards Made Easy book (9036) I love this card with it’s turned over edge, it’s so cool. I made these cute Minnie Mouse – Artfully Sent cards for fun and to send fun wishes to all my girlfriends leaving on a jet plane, headed for the CTMH Convention in Disneyland, California about to begin this week.

Since I can’t be there, I can be here in the spirit of CTMH and Disney!

Once upon a time – one year ago, all for the love of a Close To My Heart Convention @ Disneyland, California an awesome time began with dear friends and new friends. The journey began and with more fabulous moments to come we’ll all live happily ever after with our CTMH products right by our sides!

We’d just received our Annual Inspirations and this was an opportune moment to have our photo taken in front of the gorgeous Disney castle.  With my best Disneyland cousin, Jodie, she knows everything about Disneyland she’s been there 8 times!

It’s wonderful, enormous and right there when you arrive at the Disneyland Resort. It’s just so Disneyland!

In Disneyland…a bit awesome and better still, to enjoy it with Wendy, Jodie and Meryl my Close To My Heart sisters from Australia.

You have to go to Goofy’s Kitchen for breakfast. The food OMGosh…they had Peanut butter pizza!

Today I celebrate 2 wonderful year as a Close To My Heart Independent Consultant!

Two years ago…on this very day I signed up with Close to my Heart. What a fabulous time I’ve had learning and creating. I have met the most fabulous girls who, like me, loved to scrapbook and make cards then we all started to shuffle, and then stepped, into the world of paper craft! The unknown was out there but we embraced it all and I have had the best two years.

One year ago…I was on a wonderful trip to Los Angeles for the CTMH Convention in Disneyland. What happy memories they are to me. It brings me so much joy reminiscing about the awesome time I had, people I met, things I saw in the wider community of the Close To My Heart crafting world.

What is going to happen in the next year? Nobody knows! Why don’t you come and join this journey with me.

We’ll all scream for this “Ice Cream Dream” stamp set (S1506) it’s the super cool, fun stamp of the month!

I adore our ‘Artfully Sent’ Cricut cartridge with these cute cut out sleeve cards.
Matched with the June stamp of the month I smashed the two together and created this fun happy birthday card. The dog in this set is way cool along with the ‘you are my happy’ title stamp where I just used the ‘happy’!
I mixed this altogether with bright colour cardstock and this happened…

…you pull out the insert for your ‘happy birthday’ message. The products I used are all Close To My Heart…White Daisy Cardstock, Lagoon Cardstock, Sunset Cardstock, Pear Cardstock, Cricut Cartridge ‘Artfully Sent’, Chevron Border Punch, White Shimmer Trim, Black Journaling Pen, Stamp of the Month – Ice Cream Dream (S1506) and Joyful Birthday stamp set (B1419).

This pretty coloured card uses Thistle Cardstock embossed with our Honeycomb Embossing Folder and Fundamentals Whimsy Assortment Cardstock AND my favourite Thistle Diagonal Striped Ribbon.
