This October I held a Techniques Class and shared how to use a range of our
Close To My Heart  Tools – everyone had a chance to create fun samplers to take home to use on their page layouts and with their cardmaking.

Here’s a list of some of the tools we used at the class:

The Thin Cuts – Decorative Borders are so versatile, they come in a pack of 10 metal dies which gives you a never ending supply of decorative borders to use on all of your paper crafting projects

This ‘Pull Tab’ border is big time fun!
Teamed with the “Just A Little Something” stamp set (C1730) you can get creative with cards and envelopes by combining the interactive ‘Pull Tab’ from the Decorative Border with this cute stamp set. Imagine writing a special message for your children at Christmas time and popping it inside a card, then they open it Christmas day!
SO many options!

Of course you wouldn’t see a technique/creative post from me if it doesn’t have a tag in it!
The Thin Cuts – Fancy Tags are just exquisite. With 10 different tags to choose from you will always have the right size tag at your fingertips.

Another tag from our Fancy Tag set, this time, I used the Mint Shimmer Brush to colour in our gorgeous Hedgehugs stamp. The Shimmer Brushes come in 6 wonderful colours Gold, Mint, Sugarplum, Red, Black and Clear – there is a colour for every project!

Our Thin Cuts – Favour Box is adorable and very useful for gift giving. Here you see I’ve teamed them with tags from our Thin Cuts – Fancy Tags. I love how all our creative tools work together AND you can create in your favourite paper colours.

A fun, favorite of all the girls who attended, was these sweet tassels.
Using another of our Decorative Borders, you can use this border to create flairs for your projects OR roll them up to create tassels – I LOVE IT,
it’s like an never ending use for all these borders.
