Mothers Day Cards

Our Mum is the BEST! I love that she lives around the corner from us and I love that I can send her a message saying ‘come up for dinner’ and she can come ’cause she not far away. She is there whenever we need her, she always makes time for us, makes a great coffee and will always help to mend clothes (but she won’t sew in new zippers!).  I love that she has recently updated to an iPhone 5 AND then she googled where she used to live in Amsterdam …that is SO cool. Not only is she there for my sisters, brother and myself she is there for all the grandkids and has unconditional love for them all. As we always say the best place in the world is at Oma’s house!

To celebrate mums I’ve created two cards which we will be making
at my April Card Buffets.

Mothers Day Card 1

I love tags, thanks to my Opa and Dad, and I’ll tell you all about that another day. These tags I cut on my Cricut machine using the Artiste Cricut Cartridge. Cricut machines are so much fun for crafting. They cut the best shapes, as these tags, the rose, which I rolled with a quilling tool and is held together with Liquid Glass and the leaves are all cut with my Cricut Explore Air machine and Close To My Heart cartridges. These are available now in Australia by hosting a party with me and with sales of over $400 you are eligible to purchase your own Cricut Machine with a bonus Flower Market digital cartridge. Email me at
if your interested in getting your own Cricut Explore Air machine.

Both these cards are made with the Hello Lovely Collection which is about to be retired at the end of this month.

Mothers Day Card 2My ‘Bunch Of Flower’ card uses the Corner Rounder and the main design was cut with the Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge. It’s tied together with the Fern Ribbon from the Enchantment Ribbon Pack. Close To My Heart has a fabulous range of ribbons to match perfectly with the gorgeous papers in their collection and you can see them all at
look under Shop and Embellishments.

02 – Sarita L3

Don’t forget, the products in this Seasonal Expression will be retiring
at the end of this month.

Hope you make the time to create something beautiful for your mum this May.

Happy crafting.
