I was thrilled to bits when asked to be a guest designer for
Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. What an honour!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch #184 ~ here she is!
This was an exciting challenge and I was on to it.

Sketch 184 Oh Deer!
I love glitter paper and I wanted to add sparkle to this card. I began cutting assorted strips of the Gold Glitter paper and Sea Glass paper. I also cut a strip of the ‘speckled’ design paper, from a Picture My Life card in the Oh Deer! Paper pack and adhered this to a strip of Gold Glitter. I laid out my strips onto White Daisy Card which I mounted onto Gold Glitter paper. When I was happy with the positioning I began to build my card from the bottom up, adding dimension with Foam Tape.
I adhered the bottom gold strip with E-Z Dots adhesive, adding 3-D Thin Foam Tape to the Sea Glass strip and 3-D Foam Tape for my centre strip giving it good height. I repeated the layers for the top 2 strips exactly the same as the bottom 2 strips. I also added 2 strips of the White & Gold Twine in between the Gold Glitter & Sea Glass strips.
I stamped Merry and Bright in Desert Sand Exclusive Ink onto a circle of White Daisy Cardstock which was adhered onto a circle of Gold Glitter Paper using Mini Glue Dots, these are fabulous to use when adhering anything onto glitter paper. Two Gold Sequins added the finishing touch to my card.

Now is the time to get started on your Christmas cards.
