I have just returned home after an AMAZING time at the
Close To My Heart -North American Convention held in Florida, Orlando.
Hundreds of Consultants gathered at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
Convention Centre for this fabulous event.

 The excitement built over the days as the NEW Annual Inspirations Ideas Book 2016/2017 was released with SO many gorgeous NEW products along with the Holidays Expression Ideas Book (I didn’t see that coming!) OH MY! So much crafty goodness. It all began here…

Disney’s Coronado Springs. This was a fun resort to stay where the Close To My Heart Convention was to be held. Reminiscent of Spanish colonial Mexico, it’s themed southwest style with brightly coloured Casitas (little houses),

Ranchos and Cabanas surrounding a 22 acre lagoon. The temperature ranged from 29 – 34 degrees while I was there, such a nice change from the cold winter back home.

Day one of our CTMH Convention :: Leaders Day.
This day for the Leaders was filled with fun, motivational training to share with our teams along with running our own successful CTMH business. It all began with our Chief Communications Officer Monica Wihongi.
Boy, was I was honoured to be in the same room as these amazing girls!

Day two :: Convention begins!

A fun day filled with catching up with old friends and meeting new friends.
The NEW Annual Inspirations Ideas Book 2016/2017 was released with SO many AMAZING NEW products …we all received a copy to ohh and ahh over along with this gorgeous, exclusive rolling tote bag (the perks of being a Consultant at Convention)…if you want one of these you have the chance to get your own at our Adelaide Convention this October!
I also found a Sticky Boy a CTMH!

I met this amazing woman Karen Morris. She is Close To My Hearts number 1 Consultant! Karen has been with the company since day one, 25 years ago and is a warm, giving gorgeous girl. We walked and talked into convention as if we’d know each other for years!

Day three :: More convention fun…and I present a creative session!
An AMAZING day today as I get to share a whole lot of fun new product to the girls and guys, right here at this epic event – It was an exciting time!

That evening I shared some MAGICAL creative ideas at our Friday night Creative Showcase along with a room full of talented girls. This is a fun event where every consultant can participate and showcase their creative work..and here is a sneak peek of our new Annual Inspirations.

Day four :: still SO much excitement!

It was a wonderful morning at convention seeing and hearing from our Close To My Heart founder Jeanette Lynton. With a fun Q & A session she made us laugh and made us cry.
It was fabulous to see her up on stage, such a beautiful, inspiring woman!

Brian hosted a lunch with all the Aussie girls today. I made some awesome new friends and
it was nice to be together to share our excitement for this US convention.

We finished the night and the convention off at the Awards Dinner with amazing awards handed out to the US girls and a surprise recognition up on stage for the Creative Presenters. The night rounded off with a photo with the one and only Mickey Mouse!
