Birthday parties are in the air for Lily our 5 year old daughter and I’ve taken to making banners for all the girls using our matching ‘Frozen’ colours of Lagoon and Thistle cardstock. Matched with our fabulous Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge (Z1686) this cartridge has the most versatile shapes. When girls ask me which of the Close To My Heart Cricut cartridges they should get their hands on first I always recommend this one!

For a quick matching card I LOVED playing with the banners from our May ~ Stamp of the Month ‘Just Sayin’ stamp set, this is available for just 4 more days! Using Lagoon Ink (Z2195) and Thistle Ink (Z2640) along with our matching Thistle Diagonal Striped Ribbon and the beaut Birthday sentiments of our Operation Smile ~ ‘Happy Everything’ stamp set (D1653).

National Scrapbook Month is here!

Around the world girls and guys celebrate through out the month of May with National Scrapbooking Month. I’m excited as there is always a specialty paper pack released just for this fabulous event. This month is worth celebrating with the Taste of Summer Paper Pack and Taste of Summer Stamp set available for us to create beautiful page layouts. Happy National Scrapbooking Month!

Today’s the day! We are on our way to our 2015 Retreat.
It’s our Creative Escape to the Seaside…in the Adelaide Hills!

We’ll be scrapbooking, card making and paper crafting all weekend long.
My Seaside ‘Yay’ flags, were cut with the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge (Z1686), stamped using our Urban Alphabet Stamp Set (D1507) with the Archival Black Exclusive Ink Pad (44751).

I can’t wait to hand these out tonight. I’m sure this is how the girls will feel once they arrive for our weekend full of fun!

Here is a simple page layout using the beautiful Brushed Paper.

I’ve added Outdoor Denim Cardstock with White Shimmer Trim, White Daisy cardstock photo mats and journalling box. Teamed with ‘Your Own Kind of Wonderful’ (D1627) Stamp Set and Outdoor Denim Exclusive Ink.
Embellished with a sweet daisy flower cut from our Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge.
