Jeepers Creepers is so stinking cute!

That’s what we said about these crazy critters from the Monstrous Halloween Thin Cuts Bundle…but beware, these crazy critters keep on multiplying!!!

When Lily and I saw these in the new Holidays Expressions we couldn’t wait to get this bundle with the thin cuts and matching stamp set – we’ve had the best time with them…here are our reasons why:

• they’re so stinking cute
• they are so easy to stamp and cut out with the thin cuts
• they look good in any colour
• they work well with boy OR girl birthday cards
• I can’t wait to make a get well card with these guys – LOL
• Lily wants to make a card for her friends at school with these cute critters
• I LOVE tags so I’ve mounted some on tags…just because!
• There is a great ‘It’s Your Birthday’ stamp on this set and lolly stamps (says Lily)!
• The colours of our new inks match with our fabulous new ribbon
• I’m going to make fun Christmas cards with these critters
  AND,  we’re not even using them for what they are made for – Halloween!

Monstrous Halloween (C1652)

I started creating with these 2 cutie critters stamped in one of our new colours ‘Emerald’ and  adhered them to cut tags in White Daisy and Emerald Cardstock. It all matched well with our new ribbon from the Adventure Ribbon Pack (Z3286)

We played all day with our new stamp bundle and paired it with the Jeepers Creepers Paper Pack, with colours that are so vibrant and fun, it was a super fun play day.
I’m sure they’ll be many more super fun days to come with this fun set!

With our new Seasonal Expressions out now Close To My Heart has an awesome post on their blog today ‘Make It From Your Heart.com’ and it’s all about using the Seasonal papers for your everyday layouts.

Part of making sure the papers are absolutely perfect includes balancing themed patterns with non-themed patterns so you have as much versatility as possible when you sit down to create. You will see an example of three different page layouts on the Close To My Heart blog, all beautiful layouts using the Jeepers Creepers paper pack…Halloween themed, but you would never guess the papers on these layouts came from a Halloween paper pack!

I created the same layouts at our Adelaide Product Premier Event using the Jeepers Creepers paper pack and I just love my pages.

Lily ~ 6 years old and she is growing up way to fast. We did so much in the July school holidays and this double page layout gives a snap shot of just some of the fun we had – memories made and saved on page! A fun embellishment on this page is the Racoon stamp from the  Woodlands Critters, one of our favourites.

…with a hint of Pansy Cardstock popping out from under the photo mats and the ‘Hearts’ Thin Cuts sprinkled all over this page. The title is created with the Marker Alphabet Stamp Set and Black Archival Ink. So simple and sweet.

And this page layout is so cool with the orange and white striped paper!
I added a title cut from our NEWEST Cricut Collection “Flower Market” – it’s such a fun font to use…who would’ve thought a Halloween themed paper pack could look so good with Paris photos?
I used a splash/sprinkle of paint from our Water Colours Paints – I was stepping out of my comfort zone using this on my page layout (just ask the girls who came to my workshop last Saturday!) …I do love the finished effect on the page.

This months Stamp Of The Month – Blessed Beyond Measure (S1609) is a wonderful set to make sweet gratitude cards. Today I’m sharing two cards I made using some of our NEWEST products released this month. I hope you like them as much as I do.

I used our new Raspberry Exclusive Ink Pad as my main colour and paired it with our Swan Lake Paper Packet and Thankful For You Thin Cuts Bundle which has stamps AND Thin Cuts all together for your convenience. I love how this card evolved with the gorgeous spray of flowers. Our Spring days are here and it is a fitting time to be thankful.

Using the same sentiment I created this sweet card using
0ur Swan Lake Paper Pack and Peacock  Ink and Cardstock with the gorgeous Peacock/White Stitched ribbon from the Enchantment Ribbon Pack.

This weekend I’m sharing sweet Whimsy Fundamentals Paper ideas and more! at Louinna Hundley’s 💗 Heart Beat Retreat with her gorgeous Consultants in the beautiful Swan Valley, Perth, Australia.

The first of many crafty projects the girls will be creating this weekend is this sweet Petite Perks Box. Petite Perks are super cute mini stamps exclusive to Close To My Heart. These stamps are the same size as our M-size stamps. This is fun way to wrap up a sweet gift for someone special.

To make your own Petite Perks Box cut a piece of Whimsy Fundamentals 4 1/2″ X 7 1/2″.  Slide the paper horizontally through your 12″ Fiskars Trimmer and score at 3 1/2″ and 4″. Turn your paper vertically and slide it through your trimmer again and score at 1/2″ and 4″. Score all lines with your Bone Folder. Snip in at your 3 1/2″ and 4″ to the 1/2″ line. Fold up into a box. Adhere sides. Punch a hole in the centre, top end of the box. Punch a 1 1/2″ circle out of White Daisy Cardstock and stamp your favourite sentiment. Tie your title to the box with a 5″ piece of our gorgeous gold ribbon from the CTMH Uptown Ribbon Pack.

Wood Slates Embossing Folder (Z3248) which I’ve used for so many projects! I created the title with Sorbet Exclusive Ink (Z2864) and the new Pen Pal Alphabet Stamp Set (B1539) and my Kitty Kat has been coloured with our Shin Han Markers …she is one of my favourites!

Whimsy Fundamentals again, played a big part in the making of this card.
The soft Pansy water-coloured spots with the bold Pansy Cardstock background makes for a sweet ‘sending smiles’ card I’d be proud to send a friend.

this is a fun part of the stamp set used.

‘sending smiles’ sentiment came from. Finished off nicely with Bitty Sparkles (Z1296) and Black Pen detail around the Kitty Kats.
