I had a super day sharing the ‘Some Kind Of Wonderful’ collection with the consultants in Brisbane last weekend. Senior Director Shirley Dionysius from Queensland organised this amazing day where all Close To My Heart consultants were welcomed to attend…and attend they did!

With over 100 girls and 1 guy coming along to learn new ideas and tips to use
in their own personal Close To My Heart business’s.
Look at the bright, vibrant colours below… As you can imagine there were lots of fun pages, cards and other creations made on the day.

They were kept busy all day with projects I created for them. I love that they created these projects to suit their workshops and classes. I also loved that they took the ideas and created them to suit their own personal albums eg: they didn’t have ‘girly’ photos so, they changed up the pages to suit ‘boy’ photos.

It was a lot of fun hanging out with the girls. Some of them I have known for years, it was so good to see them again. It was also fun meeting the brand new girls who recently joined  with Close To My Heart…one thing ALL the new girls said was ‘I wish I’d joined up sooner’ reason being, as they all love scrapbooking and cardmaking and LOVE that they can get their products at a discount now they joined up!

Life is Sweet!
I’m loving the long lazy days, loving the sunshine, and loving a bit of scrapbooking time over these warm summer days.

My ‘Life is Sweet’ page layout is a simple & fun page to use those lazy day snap shots on. Using fun coloured inks of Sea Glass, Pixie and Whisper to coordinate with the Sugar Rush paper this layout comes together very quickly. My little tip here is to cut your Silver Sequins in half to add to your banner so they don’t overpower the simplicity of the banner.

The stamp set I used will make your life sweet. It’s bursting with summertime happiness!

I have a sweet paper passion for all things paper and adore creating with it. The beginning of my New Year has been filled with loads of joy as I create fun cards, tags, decorate bags and more. I’m bursting to share these gorgeous Birthday goodies I made with you…

This month I’m working with one of our new collections ‘Sugar Rush’ with all the fun colours in this collection it’s just one big paper festival!

Paired with our easy to use embossing folders you can create beautiful fresh New Years cards. Here I used the Simple Chevron Embossing Folder (Z3247). To cut the HAPPY BIRTHDAY out this is super easy using the new Thin Cuts Happy Birthday (Z3304). As you can see I used the cut out title on my card and the outside of the cut on my gift bag!

Thoughtful Flowers is our Stamp Of The Month this December.
It has an arrangement of flowers perfect for embossing, colouring or stamping onto your favourite B&T papers. The sweet sentiments are timeless. This stamp set is one of those feel good sets which you’ll be proud to have in your stamp collection and one which you’ll use over and over.

I LOVE tags! I teamed this stamp set with our colour of the year Sea Glass, White Daisy and Whisper Cardstock (love this colour combo)! After I stamped in Whisper Ink I cut each flower out and using 3-D Foam Tape mounted them onto my new favourite tag from our Artiste Cricut Cartridge. These tags are now ready for me to use as gift tags or I can add them to the front of a White Daisy Card to give to a friend.

You can never have enough ‘thank you’ cards.
For this card I used the Coral water coloured B&T from the Whimsy Fundamental Paper Pack. I stamped the flower onto the same paper, cut out and mounted using 3-D Foam Tape onto my tag. Using White Daisy, Black & Whisper Cardstock and Black Archival Ink brought my card together – yet another sweet colour combination!
